I’ve always been competitive—mostly with myself. Whether it was chasing a faster Fran time (2:46 PB), hitting a heavier snatch (160 PB), or dialing in my gymnastics (more pull-ups, more muscle-ups!), I was constantly striving to improve.

Now, I’m a mom, and fitness has taken on a new role in my life. It’s my time away, my reset. I still push for personal bests, but those “bests” look different now—just like I do.

I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished in the gym, but I’m even prouder of how it’s shaped the way I show up outside of it.

About Coach

I grew up playing all kinds of sports—hockey, soccer, track, softball—and spent most of my childhood outside, just being an active kid. Through sports and fitness, I developed a strong sense of discipline that helped ground my naturally high-energy, ADHD tendencies.

More recently, my biggest achievements have been around postpartum health and wellness. I’ve been rediscovering what my body can do functionally—and honestly, it’s still capable of so much. This journey has given me incredible insight as a coach.

When I first started coaching in 2012, I was nervous and had no idea how many layers and skills it involved. Now, I’m constantly learning—about my members, my team, and my community—and I’m so thankful for the challenges that continue to come with it. Coaching has become the stage I always dreamed of growing up. And the best part? The spotlight is on movement—something that’s been the best medicine for both my brain and my body.

Turning Point

My greatest enemy in life has always been myself—specifically, my own thoughts. Self-doubt has a way of creeping in, often rooted in past experiences and the times I knew I wasn’t living up to the version of myself I wanted to be.

Gaining self-awareness didn’t happen overnight. It took time, deep reflection, honesty, and a lot of hard work. Today, I can proudly say that I am both my light and my dark—a black and white cookie, Batman and the Joker, Michael Scott and Toby. I embrace both sides because I know the work is never truly done.

This ongoing journey has shaped me both personally and professionally—especially in a role that’s all about people. There wasn’t a single turning point, but rather a series of steps, each one helping me grow. And I’m still walking that path.

Motivation & Passion

Coaching is my passion—it’s where I come alive. I love teaching functional movement and helping people not only move better, but also feel better in their own bodies. Watching someone build confidence, awareness, and strength is incredibly rewarding.

To me, fitness is so much more than lifting weights—it's about longevity, vitality, and living your best life. My ideal client is someone who’s ready to take on life with energy and curiosity, eager to understand how their body moves now, and how to keep it moving well for years to come.
